Impracticable vs Impractical, a discussion of the proposed TBPLS monumentation rule

The Texas Board of Professional Land Surveyors has proposed a change to the monumentation rule that may significantly impact the day-to-day practice of land surveyors in Texas.  The crux of the change is to remove the surveyors’ judgment as to the definition of “sufficient” monumentation, and to require that “each” corner be monumented.
